History Of House

Introduction

House Music started in the 80's. It began in Chicago. Famous DJ's like Franky Nuckles and Farley Jackmaster Funk are two which set the corner stone for house music as it is known today. It began in house parties hence the term "House Music" where it excelled into Acid House Music. Acid House was stumbled upon by accident where two people were playing around with a karaoke machine and they liked the sound so much that they decided to use it over the music played in the club whilst they were playing one night and the sound was liked so much it became so popular they were signed up with a record deal. These sounds only arrived as imports in England in 1986 which is why you will hear the term Acid House Parties which also started in houses until they too became too large to manage so they escalated into warehouses. So if it wasn't for karaoke machines we probably wouldn't have the club scene we have today!
