2007 Annual PULSE Summer Dance Event
The 2007 Annual PULSE Summer Dance Event took place this year at Penmaenau, Builth Wells (in Wales) on Saturday 7th July 2007.
The first ever outdoor PULSE Summer Dance Festival which took place at Hay-on-Wye Castle Grounds last August was said to have been an awesome event which attracted hundreds of people to the town of Hay-on-Wye. After much demand The 2007 Pulse Summer Dance Event took place this year at Penmaenau, Builth Wells on Saturday July 7th 2007. Last years outdoor festival took a slightly different turn this year and welcomed the crowd to a huge indoor Summer Dance Event.
Once again, there was an electrifying line up of spectacular class DJs featuring some of the finest DJ’ing talent from Wales and England, including:
BBC Radio 1’s Best UK Resident DJ and Kiss FM - DJ Big Al
In 2006 Big Al was asked to join the now legendary Kiss FM Team, where he delivers his weekly supply of electronic dance music to an ever-increasing audience. His faultless mixing and perfect programming has earned him plays all over the world from South America to Asia including Judgement Sunday’s-ibiza, Pacha-Buenos Aires, Babyface-China and not forgetting his weekly residency at one of the UK’s longest running trance nights, Escape-Swansea. His ability to rock a dance floor and his awards for best Trance/Progressive DJ three years running provide further evidence of his abilities behind the decks.
DJ Jon the Baptist & DJ Chuck-E (Future Sound Corporation)
UK’s no.1 hard trance DUO. Wales number 1 hard trance DJ Chuck-E runs and promotes the hard trance label Intolerance. He also features on Sound Corporation alongside DJ Jon the Baptist the legendary hard dance DJ who needs no introduction.
DJ Mars W (Intolerance Recordings)
Mars W’s awesome hard dance and high-energy sets have made him one of the most popular DJ’s in Wales. Mars has starred on the same bill as many of the worlds top DJ’s including Judge Jules, Lisa Lashes and has played at most of the best club venues in Wales and throughout the UK.DJ Jonny B (Pulse Dances)
The locally loved trance DJ who is known for his local Pulse Dances which take place in our local towns. Jonny B is also known for his dj’ing at most of the Young Farmers Dances especially their large annual rally dances.AND DJ FloJo (Female DJ)
This popular female DJ - specializing in mixing Progressive Club House, Funky House and Tribal House Dance Music.These DJs will brought an exciting night of commercial dance music, progressive House, Tribal House Dance, Trance anthems, up front trance and tech trance, which later progressed on to the harder sounds of European hard trance. The lighting show and sound was spectacular at this awesome event.
All of these DJ’s were accompanied on stage by our two ‘AMAZING PROFESSIONAL DANCERS’ who returned once again especially to take part.

Penmaenau in Builth Wells
Penmaenau is situated on the outskirts of Builth wells on the A470 surrounding the Royal Welsh showground and within a stones throw of the river Wye it makes Penmaenau an ideal location for any Event.
Penmaenau is situated in the Heart of Wales and enjoys beautiful scenery whilst also within easy reach of local ammenities in Builth Wells approximately 1m (one mile).
Directions
Travelling from the South From Brecon continue along the A470 travel to Builth Wells, turn right over Bridge opposite Lion Hotel following signs to Rhayader A470 passing the little chef on your right, take the first exit left off the roundabout directly in front of you. To your right you will see the Royal Welsh Showground travelling along the A470 you will pass the Susuki garage on your left continue approx 400 yards further and you will pass a large lay-by on your left travelling a further 100 yards you will see the wide entrance to Penmaenau on your right. Travelling from the North From Newtown continue along the A483 through Llandrindod Wells continue heading along the A483 for Builth Wells until you reach the main roundabout outside the Royal Welsh Showground, take the second exit left signposted Rhayader A470 follow the A470 passing the suzuki garage on your left hand side continue along the A470 until you pass a large lay-by on your left hand side travelling a further 100 yards you will see the wide entrance to Penmaenau on your right hand sidePenmaenau
